Impacted Fetal Head During Second Stage Caesarean Birth: A Prospective Observational Study

(Abstracted from Eur J Obstet Gynecol Reprod Biol 2022;272:77–81) The rate of cesarean delivery (CD) at full cervical dilation in the second stage labor is rising. During this stage, risk maternal and neonatal complications greater because baby's head may be engaged deeply pelvis, a condition known as impacted fetal head.
